Utah Coyotes

During the rebranding process, I had to consider many factors, especially the transition from Arizona to Utah. With that in mind, I incorporated a Utah mountain skyline into the jersey design while building upon the color palette of Utah’s hockey clubs. My goal was to make this redesign as functional as possible, which led me to create a custom typeface for the jersey numbers and player names. For the logo, I explored multiple variations of a coyote before ultimately selecting the one you see here—undoubtedly the favorite.
